CNN White House Correspondent Kelly Wallace reports on President George W. Bush's legislative agenda and his plans for the coming days, weeks and months.
Q: Has Bush started to set any personal style on his first full day as president?
WALLACE: President Bush is clearly a spiritual man. He has indicated how important his faith is to him. And so, it was not a surprise that he would begin his first full day with a prayer service. He is also quite an emotional man, and he seemed to be moved, throughout the service, at Washington's National Cathedral.
Q: How does he seem to interact with people?
WALLACE: He seems to really like to interact with everyday people. Reporters who have covered him extensively say that Bush, up close and personal with people, is a pretty incredible sight. He has tremendous personal charisma. So he seemed to really enjoy opening up the White House today, for a few hours, taking a tour and shaking hands with a couple of hundred people who were able to get inside.
Q: Did President Bush say or do anything that gave a sense of the tone he'll set in his administration?
WALLACE: There was one perhaps telling comment, when he told reporters that he hadn't really done any work today. He attended the prayer service. He attended to his family, but he said he would really get to work on Monday. Clinton, on the other hand, would spend time with family as well, but you got the impression that he would squeeze in as much work as possible into every day of the week.
